Five years ago, I was in a motorcycle accident, leaving me with a stage three TBI and fracturing my T11, T12 and T13 vertebrae. My T11 partially severed my spinal cord, leaving me paralyzed.

Wheelchair basketball has given me a new start since my accident. I have a great support system from my family but now that family is even bigger.  After becoming paralyzed, it felt like my life was over. Thanks to the team I've realized: I am just starting fresh.
